This is the forth Carrie album I bought. She again amazes me with her vocals. Gotta love her powerful yet controlled voice. My favourites are Good in Goodbye, Wine after Whiskey and Who are you. My only complaint is that in the lyrics book along with the CD, they have misprinted the lyrics of 'Who are you', it was printed with the same lyrics as Wine after Whiskey. But since Who are you have such a clear and powerful message, it didn't really matter to me :)

You can't fault this album at all. I literally was 'Blown Away' by it. I think it's Carrie's best album so far. She just keeps getting better and better. All the songs are fantastic. She effortlessly mixes the fun with the serious. There are so many fantastic things I could say about this album, but you really need to buy it to believe me. Carrie will hopefully become a little bit more popular in the UK after this album... and I can't wait for the next one.

I didn't want to wait an extra 7 weeks to buy the album in the UK so I pre-ordered the CD from Amazon.com and paid for expedited postage. I could have bought the MP3 download, but still like to have a CD. It was well worth it. The UK version has 4 extra tracks, but these are from Carrie's previous albums, which I already have, so I'm not missing those by buying the US version. Blown Away has hardly been out of the CD player in the car in the 4 weeks or so that I have had it, and the family love it too. The first three tracks seem to stand out, being a bit more pop/rock and maybe these might get her some more airplay in UK and a bit more notice. At the moment Carrie is only playing one date in UK, in June, but hopefully she'll tour at some point. Best album I've bought in a long while.

Ever since I first heard her voice I instantly fell in love and drought every single one of her albums and this is the best. Songs vary from 'Cupid's got a Shotgun' to 'Forever Changed' and each is unique in its very own way. It is difficult to pick favourites from this album as all the songs are amazing in their own way. If I had to pick favourites I would probably go for 'Leave Love Alone', ' One Way Ticket' and 'Blown Away'. But I also love each and every other song on the album for different reasons. This is the best money I have ever spent and once you buy this I am sure you will want to buy her other 3 as well, 'Some Hearts', 'Carnival Ride' and 'Play On'. I strongly recommend buying this album, trust me, you won't regret it. Well done Carrie Underwood!!!

Blown Away is easily Carrie Underwood's most diverse album so far.She takes a massive step in her creativity and it pays off.
She kicks things off with her rocking number one hit Good Girl which then leads us into the two darkest songs on the album,the title track Blown Away and Two Black Cadillacs.The rest of the album brightens up from there with some mellow summery uptempos such as Nobody Ever Told You and One Way Ticket.
There's also some beautiful slow numbers like See You Again, Wine After Whiskey and the spiritual power ballad Who Are You.
Brad Paisley also joins her on Cupids Got A Shotgun with his signature electric guitar sound.
Produced by Mark Bright with half of the songs co-written by Carrie herself, this album is most definitely her strongest work since her debut Some Hearts.Still vocally one of the best singers in any genre, Carrie lives up to the title and will surely leave you blown away with this fantastic new album!
