WHEN THE QUALITY OF THE MUSIC IS INCOMPATIBLE WITH THE MAGNITUDE OF THE PERFORMER, ONE QUESTIONS THE RATIONALE OF THE ALBUM'S ISSUE. HOWEVER, WHEN TWO TRACKS OUT OF 10 ARE MEMORABLE, THEN THE PURCHASE IS DEFINITELY WORTH IT. THE TWO TRACKS ARE "HEARTFELT LINE OR TWO" AND "I'M BLOWING AWAY" (PRESUMABLY THE TITLE TRACK) QUALITY BAEZ- PERFECT TIMBRE AND GREAT LYRICS.- BUY IT, DON'T JUST LISTEN TO IT.

Format:Audio CD
I have owned this album for two years and constantly play it. I bought the album for the track "A heartfelt line or two" which was often played by Mr Wogan on his Radio 2 show. I now find that I enjoy two of the other tracks just as much. They are "Luba the Baroness" and "The altar boy and the thief"
The other tracks are good but for me these stand out. It is different to hear her sing to a piano rather than guitar accompaniment but on these tracks the result is outstanding. Go for it and you will be rewarded

This I think was her first album after her time with A&M Records. What a gem. I had it on tape all these years so was pleased to get it on CD. Her songwriting ability is almost as good as Bob Dylan's but her voice is ten times better.
