The second compilation from Blow Up, the top Swinging Sixties club night, features more groovy instrumentals from their dancefloor. Vol 2 takes the listener into the twilight zone of the unknown session man. These recordings return to the vaults of KPM, introducing the DeWolfe, Amphonic and Sylvester music libraries. The music on Vol 2 was recorded between 1968 and 1974 and was originally used by production companies for TV themes and incidental music. The tracks were rediscovered through visits to second-hand record stores and the libraries' archives; many of them have been made available for the first time. Format:Audio CD
I first bought this album on vinyl when I was at Uni which got me into a scene of music I'd never come across before. So when I came across it on cd a number of years later, I had to get it. It inspired me to listen to the funky stuff again. This album is great and inspires you to want listen to other stuff from a similar genre and from blow up. A true great.

With classic tracks for you to groove to this album makes you feel like you are walking down carnaby street in the 1960's. With classics such as wild elephants (as used in the Gap adverts), teenage chase and ragger you will never want to stop dancing.
This album is a must for anybody and everybody who loves to strut their stuff to the funkiest grooves around.

Solid Collection of 70's Action Adventure Cop Dramas

Nice solid & professional collection of some of the best known British soundtrack composers. It's nowhere near as much fun as the EASY TEMPO or the BEAT AT CINECITTA collections - but it's a solid collection.
