Excellent research and readability together 11 Sep 2000

I bought an older edition of this book some years ago, and it's research is excellent. Although there are not thousands of names in this book, those which are included are both clearly described with variants and their etymology. It is an excellent book for those seeking names for babies, as well as for more general purposes.
