'Bloodline'...Since Dan Brown's 'Da Vinci Code' I like many people I guess, have gone on to read far more serious books, 'The Holy Blood The Holy Grail', 'The Holy Place', 'The Temple and the Lodge' and 'The Woman with the Alabaster Jar' to name just a few. However, Bruce Burgess's and Ben Hammott's investigations documented so intensely fascinating in 'Bloodline' has dispelled any doubts I may have had over the question of Christ's divinity. This film had me rivited to the screen often pressing the back button to check I had heard or seen something correctly. Whatever one may feel or believe, this film is a brilliant piece of investagative journalism.

I have a hatred of Dan Brown, never read Da Vinci trash, no interest, never knew what it was about.

But this DVD came to me through another channel and I finally watched it last week. Three times to be exact. First on my own, felt a bit suspicious of the film maker and the guy who finds the tombs, questioned if it was a setup. The second time I watched it with my partner and felt like I was watching a different documentary. We regularly paused it and discussed what we saw. The the following day we watched it again with the director and producer commentary on to hear more info.

I have to say I am certainly fascinated. Why would these two average guys find easily the most important tombs in worlds history? Well my own opinion is simply because they are average and most people will not pay attention. As far as I know it never made any newspaper or news channel. I believe this is exactly what those at the top want. They do not wish for teams of professional archeologists with tv crews to be broadcasting this the world over, it could have devastating effects.

I have since bought one of the books that started this whole mystery, Holy Blood Holy Grail and plan to buy some of the books of those interviewed in the documentary. This is a fascinating subject by real people. If it turns out to be a fake then I'm fooled, but I can live with that, I think there is a lot of truth in what is discussed here and again I see that the most interesting brave people are those that are unknowns being ridiculed for being crazy. Where are these kinds of interesting stories or people in our media? Well, thats another story.

I strongly recommend this DVD, and if you do buy it I recommend you watch it more than once, whether you like or dislike it to see what else you find out.
