'BLOOD & THUNDER - THE LIFE & ART OF ROBERT E. HOWARD' by MARK FINN [MF]

This is a great new informative and fascinating biography about Howard [ the inspired creator of the genre of grim sword & sorcery tales, great writer, master poet, and Texan teller of many more tall-tales].

It's even better than i thought it would be!
A real eye-opener for me. and now [thanks to the great accessible writing style of MF] i feel that i know Bob Howard, and i understand him much better now.

MF gives clear and wonderfully detailed explanations of Howards intense life, and gives us sensitive deep insights into his motives.
considering the complexity of Howards character this must be 1 of the greatest biography achievements ever written?
This superb book is a MUST read for all fans of Howard.

Ever wondered why the original Conan tales are so grim, violent, supernatural, exciting and are such brilliant sword & sorcery entertainment? ...then read this book...
