Fascinating account of politics, history and crime 27 Oct 2009
By annulla - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
A fascinating account of the history of the NYC OCME, which has managed to be the world's leading forensic facility despite the antics of corrupt coroners, the machinations of grasping politicians, and the best efforts of scheming outlaws. This lively tale explains how OCME -- which rests squarely at the intersection of crime and science -- was formed and developed, describes the colorful personalities who have led it, and details some of its most notable cases.

not like described in review of book 15 Oct 2008
By S. E. Wolfe - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I was disappointed in this book. Although the writing was good, the book seemed to drag on and wasn't as in depth as was described in reviews before purchase. I wish I would have selected another book in the same category! I was bored after a few pages.
