More About the Author

Mark Dawson has worked as a lawyer and currently works in the London film industry. His first books, "The Art of Falling Apart" and "Subpoena Colada" have been published in multiple languages.

He is currently writing two series. Soho Noir is set in the West End of London between 1940 and 1970. The first book in the series, "The Black Mile", deals with the (real life but little known) serial killer who operated in the area during the Blitz. "The Imposter" traces the journey of a criminal family through the period; it has been compared to The Sopranos in austerity London.

The John Milton series features a disgruntled assassin who aims to help people to make amends for the things that he has done.

Mark lives in Wiltshire with his family.

5.0 out of 5 stars She's coming for you..... 29 Jun 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
A gripping finale to the trilogy. So you've read the first 2 parts and you're already emotionally standing alongside Beatrix ready to go to war, ready to dish out the final acts of revenge...... you don't have to wait long. The action kicks in from the first few pages and you're hooked, the only downside being that you know it has to come to an end at some point. I would highly recommend this trilogy and now await impatiently for the author's next offering.

Fast paced action in what has been a truly superb series.
The end is open enough for there to be a spin-off...which I sincerely hope there is!!!

with great sadness, i embarked on the reading of the final part of the beatrix rose trilogy. Thankfully this final installation lived up to the others as well as my own expectations. A very fitting finale for a very fantastic trilogy. If you haven't read or heard of Mark Dawson, do so. I promise you its worth your while

5.0 out of 5 stars A Fitting Finale 8 July 2014
By chrisgk
Format:Kindle Edition
I have really enjoyed this series of stories involving Beatrix Rose and her quest for revenge and this final chapter is a perfect ending to a great trilogy. Well written as always with great plot, pace and characters makes this a truly exciting read. As other people have said you are never quite sure how the story will pan out and this really adds to the enjoyment for the reader. Well done Mr Dawson for creating such a great read and providing such a fitting finale ( or is it?)

4.0 out of 5 stars did well but could do better 7 July 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
the author does give the reader a pleasant and entertaining read .he des give the reader empathy with the heroine and a gripping finale . however the story could have been fleshed out better and some of the details were slightly farfetched when you considercshe was apparently dealing with a global organisation capable of overthrowing nations.they were apparently naïve and stupid when trying to deal with her. regardless he is agood author and a joyb to read

5.0 out of 5 stars Beatrix Rose Trilogy - a great read 7 July 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The last of what has been a great trilogy, that lead on from the equally brilliant John Milton series. Congratulations Mr Dawson on what has been a wonderful series of books that I could not put down. I do recommend these books to a wide range of people as at their heart, they are about people making difficult decisions in even more difficult circumstances. Also they are just a very good read.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a great trilogy!!! 30 Jun 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
A superb ending to the Beatrix Rose trilogy sees the culmination of Beatrix's quest to seek revenge for the death of her husband with the usual twists and turns of plot that I've come to expect from Mark Dawson.

The story is well paced with almost unrelenting action from the word go which made me not want to put the book down. Well done Mr Dawson and is there a chance of a spin off from a book that was a spin off itself?
