Epic 10 Nov 2006
Format:Audio CD
This, Blood In Our Wells (BIOW) is an epic album. At first I though it was not as good as the classic Autumn Aurora (AA), but then this album really grew on me. Listening to everyday, loving it everyday.

It can be compared to AA, in the instruments and vocals. Though everything has become deeper, the voice, the instruments and the music. Though you are not missing out on solos from AA, which were stunning. In fact this album contains more guitar work, showing there skill in both making 'Heavy', but beautiful music.

The album starts will the Intro-Nav'. Which is more of an opening to the second song than anything else. Showing some acoustic work, then falling into an almost deep trance. Voices in the background and an echoing chant. Sounding almost war-like.

The second is a deep introduction. Straight to the vocals, deep, everything perfect for an amazing album. Hearing the synths swim through the music. The drums simple, but hard hitting. Containing elements of folk and acoustic work.

The third is in the same style though keeping showing off amazing solos throughout. Mixing everything like the previous song. Though this album is best heard full, to see how it flows...

The forth, this time is probably the most 'Black Metal' song of the album. Containg amazing solos, tremolo picking all the way. And the vocals deep and melancholic. Probably the best song on the album.

Cant be bothered to write more... All songs are great, Buy this album now!
