More About the Author

I live in Nottinghamshire - Robin Hood county - so technically, Sherwood Forest. I enjoy writing about all kinds of different subjects but the genre is mainly horror. I am dabbling in Young Adult literature at the moment and Dusty seems to have got herself quite a following.

Next year is going to be packed full with different work that I have lined up - screenplays, film-to-book work and I'm writing for a couple of magazines (Sub-editor of one). I have also been asked to write a number of biographies for various people, so that will take me out of my comfort zone.

All in all, it's quite an exciting journey that I've found myself on, feel free to join me... the Werewolves don't bite... if you behave.

I have read all of Michelle's books, and short story, so far and find them all brilliantly written. The content is absolutely gripping too. The adventures of Red and her wolfkind get you really believing in werewolves, especially with Cruel.. and unusual! How fact and fiction comes together is truly amazing which goes to show how thorough the research was done. Her story progresses throughout each book and leaves you wanting to read more to find out the next instalments of her life. Another addition Michelle has made was introducing Dusty in a short story. She is a brilliant character, another strong female who is entwined in the dark side of fantasy. Gripping from start to end 'Dusty the demon hunter' lets your imagination run wild. Overall, I would highly recommend reading these books as they clever, imaginative and thoroughly enjoyable.

I must say I have truly enjoyed reading this series of books so far. From Deadlier than the Male, through Cruel and Unusual to this the latest one Blood on the Moon. We have been following the career of 'Red' the Sentinel Exemplar. Red has had to learn how to cope with everything from her life changing so swiftly and dramatically from being a simple country girl to dealing with her fair share of arch-enemies, difficult relationships, and some very modern problems which she would never have even been dreamed about in her 'time' prior to her wolfing. I can't wait for the next book to find out how she fairs next. Thank you D Michelle Gent, another surprisingly good read.

For two days i walked around with this book in my hand reading it at every oppotunity, again D Michelle Gent has written a book you can't put down. This is how stories of werewolves and things that go bump in the night should be, creatures that only take an intrest in humans at lunch time. If you want a story about werewolves then this is one of the best you will find. The detail and realism Michelle creates in her books means you will never go walking around alone in Mansfield or anywhere in the area on a full moon.

Blood on the Moon 17 Mar. 2012

Blood on the Moon This book took me by surprise, as its not normally my chosen genre. Real characters, real werewolves and a story line that drags you in so much that you've finished the book and am baying for more before you realise. I don't review many books but i just had to share this one. I absolutely loved it. Thank you Michelle

More than just a number in a series 20 Mar. 2013
By nabalie - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
Great second installment and set in a completely different timezone to Deadlier.

Red is in the modern world and is carrying out her job of hunting down throwbacks who threaten their existence. It's a constant problem only worsened when outside forces come to Red's attention.

I always find it jaw dropping how human and blood thirsty the wolves are. They truly see themselves as a separate race and the humans as cattle which is incredibly interesting as it's a perspective i've never read before.

I read it in record time and rushed to get Cruel and Unusual

I received my copy of "Blood on the Moon" from author Michelle Gent for my enjoyment and then in turn my fair and unbiased review. Thank you so must for the opportunity to continue my reading experience of pretty much all of your books...
As I hop right back on the "MG" train I'm once more captured by "Blood on the Moon", and it's characters that are unique to Ms Gent, I love them they are so well written.

Yet another new twist on werewolves is what you will find as the pages are read, I'm curious to see what the other readers will think as to you their favorite character/characters will be/is? As for me I personally Red in the front running as my favorite character! Go Red.

I do recommend this series as one to be added to your TBR list, take the time out of your busy schedule, grab yourself a copy and then sit back to enjoy!!!

Recommend: YA and up
