'Here s a rough, tough, thriller with the impact of a knuckleduster to the jaw. Fans of TV hit The Wire will connect with hero Zac Hunter, a former LA cop who answers a call from a former informant, a gang member, for help. Hunter is sooncaught up in a dangerous street war as he tries to repay his debt to Angel.' --Peterbourough Evening Telegraph

'Zac Hunter s welcome return in the sequel to Justice For All. This time the ex-LAPD cop infiltrates the gangs of south central to find the kidnapped daughter of a former grass. Gang warfare is about to kick off big time.' --The Mirror

'A real page turner…it is a thoroughly good read.' --Eastern Daily Press

Product Description

All hell is breaking loose in the city of Angels...In this breakneck sequel to "Justice for All", ex-LAPD detective Zac Hunter receives a cry for help from an old snitch, gangbanger Angel Cortez. Angel's daughter Gracie has gone missing, and her boyfriend knows more than he's letting on. Discovering that a rival gang grabbed Gracie from an East Los Angeles park, Hunter agrees to do what he can to find the missing girl. As two rival gangs wage war on each other, only Hunter and the mysterious vigilante Stone will be able to save Gracie - and prevent a city from going up in flames.

This is the best book I have read this year (and I've read a many!) It is a fast paced gritty thriller set in LA with many a twist to make sure you keep turning the pages. This is a great follow up to the awesome Justice for All Justice for All (MIRA) - which if you haven't read I'd recommend as well. It's really refreshing to have a British author writing such great fiction, and I'd urge you to buy this to ensure that we have many more great thrillers from Steven Hague in coming years. Go on, click the buy button, sit back and enjoy.

A Winning Formula 31 Aug 2009
Format:Paperback
Hague has found a winning formula and Blood Law is sure to please those who appreciate high octane, no nonsense action. The story deals with the disappearance of a gang leader's young daughter with Zac Hunter in the thick of the action as he aims to secure her safe return. Go ahead and but this book - you will not be disappointed!

Cracking read... 19 Aug 2009
Format:Paperback
I bought this book on Saturday and from start to finish it was fast paced, with a plot and characters that made it very hard for me to put it down at all.

Having read Justice for All last year, I was eager to read the next installment involving Zak Hunter and have not been disappointed in the least. I am looking forward to finding out whats in store for Zak Hunter next and whether he hooks up with Stone...intrigued? Then buy the book, you won't be disappointed!!
