BLOOD OF THE GODS TRILOGY in ONE BUNDLE
Contents:
Book 1: Frozen In Time
Book 2: Bound By Death
Book 3: Poet's Blood

FROZEN IN TIME
Set in Ancient Greece, a time when the spirit world of gods and goddesses and other immortal beings bleeds into the world of mortals, Frozen in Time is a rich vampire tale of betrayal and revenge, and the eternal longing for blood and love.
After the death of his wife in childbirth, Philip, grief stricken and suicidal, joins the army of his half-brother Alexander the Great, with whom he has a very uneasy relationship. But the world of immortals has other plans for him and the vampiric monster Scylla plays on his grief by seducing him in the form of his dead wife.

Horrified when he discovers that he too is now an immortal blood drinker, it becomes his quest to escape Scylla, find a way of destroying her forever, and to hopefully reunite himself with his dead wife's soul in a one way or another.

BOUND BY DEATH
England, 1190. Lady Eleanor FitzOsbern - born with the gift of second sight and healing, and now slowly becoming aware of these powers - longs to escape her abusive husband. When she meets and falls for the young knight Robert de Arundel she starts making plans to join him on Crusade. But then her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets a mysterious man by the name of Philip de Vere. Why does he arouse such strange emotions in her? And does he hold the key to her past as well as her future?

Scylla, demon daughter of the blood sucking Lamia, is on a quest for revenge. As a victim of a cruel spell, she has had to endure centuries frozen in stone with only her thoughts for company. Longing to escape this horrifying ordeal, she infiltrates the mind of her most devoted progeny, Melitta, and instructs her to hunt down the man responsible - Philip de Vere - with a view to destroying him and all he holds dear.

POET'S BLOOD
Windsor, England, 1815. A beautiful vampire awakes from a 300-year-old sleep. Confused, suffering from memory loss, she only knows her name by the pendant she wears on her neck, which is engraved with the words: 'To Eleanor, Eternally yours, Philip'. The first mortal she encounters is the Romantic poet Percy Shelley, who takes her home to the cottage he shares with his lover Mary Godwin.

A year later the three friends, along with Mary's stepsister Claire and Eleanor's new love Timothy, journey to Lake Geneva in Switzerland to stay with the infamous Lord Byron at his villa. One stormy night, a mysterious acquaintance of the poet joins them. He is introduced as Philip de Vere. He knows Eleanor but she does not know him, other than he may be the Philip who gave her the pendant. Why does he claim to know her? What secret does he hold from her past?

After Byron suggests that they should all write a ghost story, Eleanor begins to write a vampire tale - her own - and soon her memories come flooding back and with them the truth of her past. Not only is she a bloodsucking vampire, but she also possesses the power of second sight. When visions of Shelley's impending death in a boating accident start to haunt her, the only way she knows how to save him is to give him immortality. But at what cost? With the ancient vampire Scylla now hot on their trail, her wrath about to be unleashed, time is running out for everyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Trilogy 14 Feb. 2014
By Hermes
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I brought Frozen in time some time ago which I thought was fantastic. I had it on my Kindle and thoroughly enjoyed the setting and storyline. I'm not into Vampire type films or stories but with the initial setting of Greece it captivated my imagination from the start. One of my best e-book buys for the Kindle ever! I had hoped there would be more to follow and was so glad I checked back to find Marie Symeou had this excellent priced trilogy on Amazon. I didn't hesitate in buying this even though I already have the first book of this set. I find when I start reading this story line I just can't put it down. I will check all the works of Marie Symeou now.
