Product Description

Vivian, at 16, is a beautiful young werewolf with all the young wolves in her pack howling for her. But then she falls in love with a human. If she reveals herself, will he be able to relish the magic of her dual nature? Then squabbles with her pack lead to a brutal murder. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

From the Back Cover

I will howl for you, human boy, she thought. I will hunt you in my girl skin, but I'll celebrate as wolf...

Vivian relishes the change: the sweet, fierce ache that carries her from girl to wolf. At sixteen, she is beautiful and strong, and all the young wolves howl for her. It is time for her to find a mate.

But Vivian just feels lonely and lost, longing to be 'normal'. That's when she meets Aiden - a human - and falls in love. But can Aiden ever accept Vivian as she truly is? And will Vivian be fully satisfied with Aiden's comfortable kisses - like chocolate - when she has such a passionate need for more? For kisses with real danger in them - like blood... --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

5.0 out of 5 stars absolutely haunting, read and be mesmerised, 5 April 2006
This review is from: Blood and Chocolate (Paperback)
I've always been a big fan of the romantic horror genre, it's always held more allure for me than you're average boy meets girl love story. The whole premise of boy meets weregirl is so much more interesting.
The love story isn't some straight forward get together, theres lots of twists and turns that keep you interested, as a reader you're always left on tenterhooks, the author does not let you have one moment of relaxation.
i found myself disappointed at how quickly i read this book, i wanted it to go on for that little bit longer. It certainly kept me happy throughout, if your like your love stories with a little bit more bite this is definitely your read - dont miss out!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Book , fantastic for teenage reading , Must read!!, 20 Jun 2004
This review is from: Blood and Chocolate (Paperback)
When i first read this book, i just couldn't put it down! I was so additive to it and couldn't spend time on revising for my exams..oops! It is excellent for teenagers and it is full of romance and alittle horror.
You would loved to be the characters in Blood and Chocolate particularly Vivian !! She is extremely pretty and how she had to get through to be with someone she likes and likes her too.
This book is highly recommended for anyone interested in romance and fantasy kinds, so buy this book and read it ,you'll find that you couldn't put it down either!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheesy fantasy, 29 Dec 2008

This review is from: Blood and Chocolate (Paperback)
This is a cheesy romance novel and not the style of werewolf legend that I was hoping for. It seems to be aimed at the YA market and is a low-grade fantasy tale about a 16-year-old werewolf girl and her attempt to snare a human lad that she has set her mind on partnering. For me this was a slow, plodding piece of writing that I struggled to finish reading.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's a sweet story!
I liked the ending bit. It was a twist but more realistic. It's not as twilight good, but it's enjoyable. Recommend to the girls who like twilight series.
