I awaited this dvd with baited breath, as the only other concert disc available is the 1982 Blondie Live. I should have kept my money.
For a start, there are listed 11 songs on the disc (no surprises, the standard tracks, which disappointed me straight off). However, there is only one line (literally) of Eat to the Beat before they move into the next track. I think this was Blondie rather than the dvd mixing, but it shouldn't have been listed as a track.
The last song, Sunday Girl is worth seeing as it contains the legendary accompaniment by pipers (as the concert was in Glasgow). Fantastic performance but, the dvd ends mid song for no apparent reason.
So, out of 11 tracks, we actually get 9 and a half. Blondie's performance, as usual, was awesome, but there must be better ways of presenting it.
My advice, stick to the Blondie Live dvd. That really shows the energy of the band and has a far more varied playlist for the more discerning fan.
