Useful for crafters 9 Dec 2009
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is a lovely book, well produced and full of gorgeous photos. The technical content is a bit light but the book does serve almost as a directory to some of the best craft blogs out there. I like the interviews with other bloggers and how they got started. One thing I would query however, the author states that all photos on Flickr are free. They are most definitely not and I worry that this could get some of her readers into trouble regarding copyright law.

Lovely book 27 Nov 2009

Its real eye candy and has lots of lovely blogs to visit, not as helpful as I thought it might be, as I already have a blog so was looking for ways to jazz it up more, but if an absolute blog beginner it would be helpful as it shows how to set a blog up, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and will use a few of her tips that I didn't know or think about.

I originally borrowed this from the library and didn't want to give it back!
I agree that this is not ideal reading for those with an already established blog but it is perfect for those looking to start out in Blogland.
The technical advice is sufficient to get you started without being overly complicated.
The interviews with experienced bloggers are extremely useful (how they started, what they would have done differently etc.)
The photos are great, making this a pleasant read even if you have no plans to blog yourself.
I have been inspired to write my own blog, and did so with the help of this book alone.
