I put it on to the tiles and - after a little while - it dropped. I cleaned the tiles, I wiped the tiles and put it on again. After a little while it dropped. I put it on to the mirror and it dropped again and again. I picked it up and threw it into the waste. It dropped for the last time.

Ideal for putting bath or kitchen sponges in. Very easy to clean. I have placed one in my bathroom on the tiles. I find it very useful when showering and because it has holes, the sponge dries, therefore avoiding any mould build up.

I bought this sponge caddy to stick on kitchen tiles in a discrete corner beside the sink and found the product was as expected - well enough made and adequate for the purpose. However, like another reviewer, I found it kept sliding off the surface I intended it for and would not stick even for one second. In my case, I think the problem is that the tiles have a very slight texture to them. I tried the caddy on a metal surface and on the side of the plastic sink and in both cases it stuck like glue. I have other suction cups already (bought for window decorations) and also tried them on the tiles, without the weight of the basket itself, and the non-stick scenario was the same so I presume it's the texture issue.
My kitchen sink is too small to house the caddy without it getting in the way, so if I don't think of an alternative method to get it to stick to the tiles, I might just give it to a family member who would find it useful in their huge Belfast sink. I've tried using Blu'Tak (both on the cups and directly on the plastic) and this seemed to work but only because the area where I want the caddy is far enough away from the sink to be dry, and the fact it's only used for a very lightweight kitchen sponge and cloth. Using Blu'Tak spoils the look and really defeats the purpose of having the suction cups but it might be a solution, although I'll have to see how this does in practice over time. As mentioned, I found the caddy seems to stick well on 100% smooth surfaces although I've only tried it with lightweight items.

waste of money
It dropped after less than 10 seconds ,I placed it again and it dropped again and again, waste of money!!I wouldn't recommend this for any one!
