OK, these stick fine. You need to moisten them before applying them to a slick surface - the slicker the surface the better they work, like every other suction cup ever made. They are 72mm when spread, not 80 as mentioned in the description, the 3cm is close and might actually be a little more, but it is very hard to measure that dimension.
Having seen other comments, I've put two on test, with them loaded, for over a month now and they simply have not budged a single millimetre.

Stick only to the slickest surfaces. This one falls of surfaces that my old suction hook would stick to for months. Useless.
The hooks sometimes fall off the wall. They're good on bathroom tiles but fall off about once every three weeks.
