Most Helpful Customer Reviews

9 of 9 people found the following review helpful By A Customer on 5 Mar. 2003
Format: Audio CD
A very well interpreted recording of a rare English masterpiece. Poignant texts of war poetry set to a highly charged modern romantic score. The performance, whilst energetic, is sensitive to the delicacy demanded of the piece. The recording is somewhat two dimensional and would could have benefitted from more rigorous editing/mixing. A sound album and the best example of the piece I have found on record.
