Enjoyable read 4 Nov 2009
Format:Mass Market Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Blind-sided is a semi-sequel to the author's first book Choices which I absolutely adored.

The main characters were introduced briefly in Choices (Norris more so than Dahlia) and in this book, the story centres around their developing relationship and how Norris sets out to persuade Dahlia that she can believe in love again.

Although I warmed to this story, it did not have the innocence or romance of Choices and consequently, I finished the book without feeling the euphoria that I felt with Choices. That is probably being unfair to Ms Willams because the relationhship development between these two characters was very different from that between Lara and Ryan. Lara was sweet and Ryan spent time courting her. Norris and Dahlia are having sex without being committed to each other and Norris wants to change that so spends time trying to woo her; so it is not fair to keep comparing the two relationships but I do!! Lara and Ryan along with their adorable children make an experience in this book too and their love is so tangible.

This book is more about the relationship between Norris and Dahlia. Norris learns about something that happen many years ago and he comes face to face with the consequences. The situation challenges his batchelor lifestyle and he realises that responsibilities are something that you have to take seriously.

We also encounter Norris's mother and her attitude to race adds another dimension to the story, more so than Dahlia's parents.

Ms Williams is an excellent author and I did enjoy the book because I finished it in two days!

naff hero name 13 Sep 2009
Format:Mass Market Paperback
I was looking forward so much to read this book as I really loved Choices. However, it took me forever to finish it, although it was good, I couldn't conjure for the life of me anything remotely romantic when the hero's name is Norris! I kept thinking of Norris in Corrie, absolutely off putting! I would have liked a much more macho name to match the hero's character. Sorry Miss Williams, good book but naff name.

A MUST READ!! 17 Mar 2010
Format:Mass Market Paperback
i have just finished reading this novel and i am relieved that finally i can turn on my mobile phone and socialise because for the past few days i have been sucked in and hooked in this love story. This is my first Tammy Williams novel and i believe it is a sequel or "choices"!Choices (Indigo Love Spectrum) which i am awaiting the delivery for. I am a huge Mills and Boon Fan but this storyline was so much better because not only did it focus on Norris and Dahlias relationship, but there is some unforgettable characters like Reese and Norris Mum that really make this story come alive. i 100% recommend this to everyone that enjoys a good read. definately worth it!
