Product Description

Product Description

"Morgan Caraway's book is an excellent summary and presentation of the fundamentals of the non-dual perspective. It is one of the most direct and uncompromising contemporary books on non-duality I have seen. Morgan's insights are dead on target and he does not pull any punches. If you are looking for a "politically correct" expression of non-duality this is likely NOT the book for you. It is full of sharp, clear and witty expressions that will delight the discerning reader interested in cutting the through the fog of fuzzy spiritual concepts and half truths that often pass for clarity. Morgan expresses the universal and timeless themes of non-duality in an original, fresh way. This book is not a retread of worn-out spiritual concepts; rather, it is a bold and radical wake-up call that dares you to recognize your original nature as it is here and now." John Wheeler

Simple Joy 26 Sep 2011
By patridu - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Caraway describes what could be a very dry, intellectual topic in a very simple, funny manner. Each short chapter examines a dualistic concept (seeker vs enlightened, self vs god, etc) and shows how these ideas are just that, ideas. In some instances (in Seeker) I felt a palpable sense of relief - it really is the ideas we have about ourselves and reality, and not reality itself, that we find problematic. Caraway doesn't pretend that we can avoid the pain in the world, or even fix it. The world will continue to surprise us in all its forms, and its the observation of those forms, without judgement or attachment, that produces true joy.

Where? 5 Nov 2011
By who? - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I, for some reason, am never able to put the best words together clearly to point to what is. Morgan has that gift. His put-together words won't point you to "where no man has gone before," but to where every man IS. I keep this one with me to open up for a "dose" of the peace of nothing in the complication of everything... :>

saying what can't be said 3 Feb 2012
By Tom Thompson - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Morgan Caraway has the rare gift of being able to say that which can't be said and he says it very well. And, thank the good Lord, he is short-winded! Each essay in this book is only a page or two long and only takes a minute or so to read. But read them slowly with full attention. They are simple pointers to what is obviously true right now. His words send a chill up my spine as I read them and recognize their simple truth.

There has to be a ripeness in the reader for this book to do its trick. This isn't a judgment, just a fact. What most people, including spiritual people, are seeking is an enhanced version of their autobiographical self. A better story. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this except there isn't one, so all attempts are bound to fail. You may have noticed this. When this seeking is finally exhausted, there then may be the willingness to see what is obviously always already so. And that is what this book is about. It is a very enjoyable and "enlightening" :-) book. I highly recommend it
