• Joan’s thirteenth album and a landmark release in a career that had already seen several breakthroughs. The sheer volume of material seemed to indicate making up for lost time; twenty songs over the original double album, including nine originals by Joan.

• Other song writers represented include Lennon-McCartney, Jagger-Richards, Robbie Robertson, Mickey Newbury and of course Kris Kristofferson.

Classic Joan Baez - songs with meaning and feeling. Marie Flore, San Francisco's Mabel Joy, Outside the Nashville City Limits - all very human images strong enough to move a person to tears. Singable melodies that haunt you for years to come, from Blessed Are to Three Horses to Fifteen Months. Highly recommended think and feel music set within a timeless musical composition that never gets old!

As many of her albums, a good one. Entertaining. Lively. With a well tuned voice as always. A record that can be recommended.
