5.0 out of 5 stars Um....wow. 12 May 2011
By Brian Nallick - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
I can't believe there are no reviews for this.
I guess this is the bands eight album and I've never even heard of them.
Pity.
I read about them online so I decided to check out the songs on Youtube.
I was totally blown away and bought this immediately.

Imagine a cross between Dream Theater, Morbid Angel and toss in a little Dimmu Borgir and even some spacey elements from Obscura for flavoring and you get The Project Hate.
Extremely long songs that do not bore.
Brutal, technical death metal with a gorgeous female voice that lends depth and layers to each song.
I usually hate female vocals with death metal but some bands like this one and Septic Flesh actually make it work.

Favorite songs?
Well...there are only six of them but they're all so long and have so many different parts that it's impossible to pick a single track.
The part in Lesus Nazarenus at the 8:01 mark made my hair stand up.
"The Serpent Crowning" is another ripper track.
An incredibly meaty album that will require multiple listens for it to sink in.
Another band I wish I had heard of ages ago.
Better late than never.
Highly recommended for experimental metal heads.

I just wanted to add my voice of assent to Brian's review. I'm not going to say too much as I think he pretty much hits the nail on the head. I found these guys listening to a Spotify radio channel based off of Illdisposed, who I would also recommend.

It really is sad how quality creative talent like this goes unnoticed while record companies manufacture image-based "artists" that sell millions of albums.

Anyway, check these guys out. Every song is a heavy metal rollercoaster.
