What a great album! Don't usally go for anything that has "emo" in the product description but this is something else. The deluxe album comes with a second cd full of b-sides, live recordings and acoustic versions. It's quite simple really, listen to the original album then kiss it goodbye and put the second on. Acoustic versions of "The Middle" and "If You Don't, Don't" which are better that the originals and a gem of a b side in "Firestarter" (yes the Prodigy song). Also contains live recordings of "Bleed American" and "A Praise Chorus". This album reminds me of Bloc Party's poppier stuff (Modern Love and Helicopters) and Dashboard Confessional's "A Mark..." album. And yes I know JEW's album was out first but still that's what it reminds me off. So if you like music 'n' stuff like that get this album it's gid.

Pap review I know but I felt obliged to write one as there was no other reviews. Any way, Father Ted is on so check out a couple of the songs and then buy it.

The original album deserves a 5-star rating by itself. Add in the bonus disc of B-sides and rarities and this deluxe edition is keepsake.

This album was one of the last Jimmy albums I bought and I've probably enjoyed it the most. Jimmy Eat World are not a one dimensional band and each album is uniquely better than others but this is the album i have listened to the most, closely followed by Clarity. The range of different songs from the more mellow reflective numbers to the driven, fast paced rock tunes creates a diverse and brilliant album. I would definitely recommend this deluxe edition as it adds even more. My Favorited song on the album ended up being the live version of Softer on the additional cd. Buy this album!! Going to see them at KOKO in June, can't wait!!

This is definitely my favourite Jimmy Eat World album. For fans of pop music or more mainstream bands like Blink 182 wanting to get into pop-punk, this is a great cd to start with.
