Product Description

Ichigo and the Soul Reapers wage a furious battle against the Arrancars who are attacking Karakura Town. But this enemy is unlike anything they have ever fought before - and these aren't even the strongest of the Arrancars! If Ichigo and his friends can barely face them, how can they hope to fight off the elite Arrancar warriors, the dreaded Espada?

About the Author

Bleach is author Tite Kubo's second title. Kubo made his debut with Zombie Powder, a four-volume series for Weekly Shonen Jump. To date, Bleach has been translated into numerous languages and has also inspired an animated TV series that began airing in Japan in 2004. Beginning its serialization in 2001, Bleach is still a mainstay in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump. In 2005, Bleach was awarded the prestigious Shogakukan Manga Award in the shonen (boys') category.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Soul Reapers hit back, 27 Nov 2008
By T. R. Alexander (East Anglia, UK) - See all my reviews
(TOP 500 REVIEWER)    (REAL NAME)
Ichigo and the Soul Reapers continue to battle the Arrancar in this twenty-fourth volume of the Bleach manga. As well as some great fights, this volume also includes some back-story for Ikkaku as well as information on the nature and ranking of the Arrancar.

The battles in this volume are as great as you would expect from Bleach with some great twists in the action. The humour is also as good as always but some of the dialogue in this volume is somewhat corny in places, though this doesn't distract much from the rest of the volume. The final cliff-hanger is also good and the following volumes are looking very interesting.
