Product Description

Everyone's training for the coming battle with Aizen's herd of arrancars. When they arrive, however, no one is properly prepared. Grimmjow returns to Karakura Town, escorted by Yammy, Luppi, and Wonderweiss, all of them Espada except Wonderweiss, who is...weird. The clash goes poorly for Karakura's defenders. Until, that is, Aizen's true objective becomes clear and the fight becomes moot.

The assault on Las Noches continues with Ichigo, Uryû and Chad facing off against the Privaron Espada, Arrancar who were formerly Espada and now hope to regain their rank by defeating Aizen's enemies. Meanwhile the current Espada are beginning to make their moves with Renji facing off against the head scientist of the Arrancar and Rukia is confronted by an opponent who reveals himself to be someone she knows well.

The eight episodes contained in this two disc set are very good with some very nice battles with the fight between Uryû and Cirucci Sanderwicci, and Rukia's confrontation with the Ninth Espada are probably my favourite parts of this set. With most of the time in these episodes taken up with action, there is little in the way of plot advancement but they are still greatly entertaining. The animation and English dub are as good as they usually are for the series

The only real downside is that the comedy in the episodes themselves, mostly supplied by Nel and her `brothers', can be somewhat annoying in places but this is only a minor irritation in an otherwise very good set of episodes. The after episode sketches on the other hand are still quite funny. I feel this set is well worth a full five stars.

1.0 out of 5 stars Didn't arrive 6 May 2012

I'm sure the episodes are great but its now been almost a month since it was suppose to arrive and I've not seen a single thing and now revieved a email saying to review something I never got. Does anybody know how the hell I can complain to amazon about this? I'm already living on £10 a week now I've lost my job so really can't afford to be completely screwed over like this.
