It's back to high school and Hollow slaying for Ichigo Kurosaki, who is now officially recognized as a Substitute Soul Reaper by the Soul Society. On the day he returns to Karakura First High School, Ichigo meets an unusual new student named Shinji Hirako. Meanwhile, Uryu is attacked by a Menos Grande and is saved by his father, Ryuken. Ryuken defeats the Menos with a single attack. He tells Uryu that he can help him regain his powers but only under Ryuken's conditions. Bleach Series 6 Part 1 marks the beginning of the unbelieveable Arrancar story arc and the burgeoning war between the Soul Reapers and The titular Arrancar led by former Soul Reaper captain S suke Aizen.

The Boxset is great,
Bleach is awesome!
Alot Of episodes to watch,
But be warned This Item is a big plain dvd case. No special cardboard cover,the cardboard case cover was limited edition.

Been looking forward to this for some time as I wait for the box sets to come out instead of purchasing the Volumes separately. Watching it was like coming home. The animation seemed cleaner and every episode came quicker than the last. Great story line but am slightly confused by a few things:
Why are the Bounts mentioned?
Why are the Mod Souls (Kurôdo, Noba and Lirin) are still in there?
Rukia getting her powers back. I'm glad because she rocks but um, what a poo explanation!
Now I don't read the manga but knowing that seasons 4 & 5 were filler from the main canon story, I'm surprised that content from them both are in here. Also the ending seemed a bit abrupt, you'd expect a bit of a cliff hanger at the end of a season.
Highlight - Ikkaku. Absolutely hilarious!
Downside - Orihime's story line (sorry!)
This is a must for any Bleach fan to get back on track.

I love Bleach (even the Bount arch to a extent!). Its one of my guilty pleasures. Im not going into spoilers so all I can really say is that this box set is fairly standard to the rest of the box sets. The one thing I would say (and this relates more to series 5) keep an eye on the number of episodes included in the box set, it is the complete series, but have noticed that some series have fewer episodes than others which has led to some disappointment when I've sat down to watch them
