About the Author

Bleach is author Tite Kubo's second title. Kubo made his debut with Zombie Powder, a four-volume series for Weekly Shonen Jump. To date, Bleach has been translated into numerous languages and has also inspired an animated TV series that began airing in Japan in 2004. Beginning its serialization in 2001, Bleach is still a mainstay in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump. In 2005, Bleach was awarded the prestigious Shogakukan Manga Award in the shonen (boys') category.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Arrancar come to town, 26 Nov 2008
By T. R. Alexander (East Anglia, UK) - See all my reviews
(TOP 500 REVIEWER)    (REAL NAME)
This volume of Bleach continues the new story arc started in the last volume and sees some great action as the new bad guys, the Arrancar come to town along with this the new student Shinji continues to bother Ichigo and Ichigo himself must struggle with his own inner Hollow that is threatening to consume him.

This is another good volume with some great fights which show just how powerful the new baddies are. The volume is also as humorous as ever with the funniest bits being towards the end when some old friends turn up. Bleach continues to be a great series and it is only improving as it continues.
