While I'm not the most fluent in French, this book more than makes up for the language barrier with it's artwork. Benjamin Lacombe manages to create a style that is both traditional and modern. Beautiful, smoothly coloured, illustrations that capture the imagination. A true gem for any lover of fairy tales, young or old.
As an Art student, this has pride of place in my collection of art books. No regrets buying it.

The stunning illustrations in this book are breath taking, this book is not in english but the images do all the talking. I am studying graphics and illustration at university so this book has been a big inspiration and would be to any artist/illustrator.
