From the Author

Thanks to fans who still write in
Despite the length of time since Blake's 7 was made people still contact me to talk about the series, this book, and my other Blake's book "Afterlife" which takes the story on from the end of the 52nd episode and explains why Blake was shot by Avon. (There is a summary of Afterlife in The Programme Guide, which is handy as Afterlife is now out of print).

I do enjoy getting the emails - although I'm not so enthusiastic about the abuse!!!

Tony

Format:Paperback
Unlike Doctor Who there havn't been many books written about Blake's 7 which is a shame because it is one of the best sci fi series ever produced. Blake's 7 The Programme Guide was the only referance book I had on the series (apart from a couple of annuals which wern't much help) back in the late 80's when the series was first being released on video (I had missed alot of the episodes during the original series run). The author Tony Attwood (who also wrote the series sequal Afterlife) has written a facinating book. The book contains detailed synopsis of all the episodes as well as an A to Z of all the characters, planets etc in the series.

Sadly this book is now long out of print but you should be able to pick up a second hand copy on Amazon. It would be nice if this book could be reprinted possibly with some new material. Failing that another book about Blake's 7 by Mr Attwood (who obviously loves the series and know his stuff) would be more than welcome. So all in all a great book which is well worth reading if like me you love Blake's 7.

A staple for Blake's 7 fans 9 Mar 2006
By G. Wilkins - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I consider this the Holy of Holies for Blake's 7. My copy, obtained at a Barnes and Noble, is sadly showing it's age. It has all the plots, information and even a "synopsis" on who might have survived and who didn't. (Such as "Zen: Dead. Lost when the Liberator broke up over Terminal...", etc. A must have if you like Blake's 7!!
