Product Description

Two more adventures from the Terry Nation sci-fi series. In 'Trial', Travis is made a scapegoat by Servalan for their failure to capture Blake. 'Killer' sees Blake and his crew stumbling upon a derelict spaceship whilst on a mission to crack the Federation's new transmission code. The craft houses a deadly plague which could threaten the existence of the entire universe.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb! 9 Mar 2001
These are the sort of scripts that set Blake's 7 apart from the rest: Trial concerns two trials; Blake's trail with himself about coming to terms with Gan's death and Travis's show trial by Servalan as her scapegoat for not capturing Blake. Brian Croucher finally gets under the skin of Travis making him more real than before and the dialogue is excellent. Blake's trial isn't so well thought out with the alien Zil trying to make him realise that he has to keep going or die. The second episode, Killer is one of the best ever. An alien desease breaks out and Blake tries to help. Great storyline and good performances make this a classic and no Travis or Servalan to be seen; A welcome change.
