Traitor: Roj Blake is on the run... He has a ship, but the ship has plans of its own. He has a crew, but who are his friends and who are his enemies? Blake thought space meant freedom, but space is cold, cruel and steeped in blood. The power of the federation reaches further and deeper then Blake dared imagine... Freedom is nowhere to be found.
I really enjoyed the audio series - fresh, bold and credible. --Matthew Graham, Writer / Creator, Life on Mars
Re-imagining the Seventies series as a set of audio adventures, this new take on the Blake s 7 story is fresh and energetic and has a personality all of its own. Written by Ben Aaronovitch (Doctor Who Remembrance Of The Daleks ) and directed by Andrew Mark Sewell, the series boasts an impressive roster of actors amongst its ranks. Derek Riddell (Sir Robert Doctor Who Tooth And Claw ) steps up as Blake, Colin Salmon, best known for his roles in Resident Evil and AVP, lends his unmistakeable tones to the role of Kerr Avon and Daniela Nardini plays Supreme Commander Servalan and while they all give fine performances, it is the pace of the story and the stunning production values that ensure the audio adventures grip from the start. Frenetic but without surrendering detail to the strict running time, this first chapter in the three-part series is a welcome return for the enemy of The Federation. 4 Stars. --Sci-fi Now Magazine
This series is morally complex, deeply noir, and sounding slicker than ever in its now feature length format. --SFF Audio
