I love Blade and I bought (for my daughter's boyfriend and for me to borrow....lol) Blade the Series and House of Chthon as offered on Amazon but.......be aware as House of Chthon is included in the series so don't buy these together - you're duplicating.The series is great I love it (and can't wait to get my hands on it) and hope it comes back, along with Firefly, Blood Ties and Moonlight (not Moonlighting with Bruce Willis).

More Blade Okay!!!!,

I have a mult-region dvd player which I highly recommend for anyone building dvd library. I had originally rented it as I didn't have cable tv when the show came out here in the States. But I liked it enough to buy it--the British dvd was priced lower than here in the States. That said I was sooooo disappointed that there was only one season of the show. The dvd picks up somewhere in time past the end of the third movie where Blade rolls off into the distance. He's back in his old hometown taking down vampires with a new sidekick and a bunch of new enemies. I'm not into rap music so I had and still have no idea who Sticky Fingz is, playing the part of Blade but he manages to pull it off. By the way, the 90min. pilot is on this disc as well as all of the tv episodes. Too bad Goyer jumped to "Flashfoward" I wish he'd go back and do more Blade.Blade - The Complete Series [DVD] [2007]

Sometimes tv series derived by good films are only a pure commercial operation and delude the fans of the original movie. In my opinion, this series is an exception (but not for the mass of Blade fans, whom "delusion" stopped it at first season). Ok, it lacks of Snipes and the rest of the original cast, but the plot is well done (for a 40 minutes show), soundtrack very good and, for a tv-movie, have good photography and action scenes. 4 DVD for less of 20 euros. What else ?
