Format:Paperback
After reading the previous instalment, Edge of Human, I was keen to give this a try. I hoped Jeter would expand on the theme of the Off-World Colonies and the role of the Replicants there and how the Tyrell Corp fitted into the overall picture but I was left a little frustrated with parts of the book which is rather inplausible in places, and you come away feeling that it could have been so much better. On the plus side though the story does keeps your attention right to the end. A worthwhile read if your a fan of the movie, if not you probably won't like it at all.

Great if you want MORE and a good read but falls down in trying to be not 'too much' like the film. Same characters and ideas though. But can not capture the dark and moody feel of the film. Mainly because it isn't one ?

In a smooth fashion, Jeter combines elements of the film "Bladerunner" with some of the concepts of Philip K. Dick. This is the third part of a planned trilogy, and is filled with action and interesting characters. The Deckard/Sarah relationship goes in a direction you might not expect, leading up to an intersting conclusion. Things are left open for the third book and I for one can't wait!
