I've been a special for 3 years and am about to start training for the regs, due to the limited amount of training I have had I have relied on versions of this book for many things. It has full explanations of all acts and points to prove, easily navigated. I will def get the use out of this new version. Be aware though that I found errors in one part which were at least 6 yrs out of date, I emailed them but have heard nothing back, which dents my confidence in it a little.

Most reviews seem to be from police officers - no doubt the target audience. This is a fine book and is at my side at the police station. A true gem, buy it.

This small book is very useful as it gives a quick and easy to access breakdown of offences and points to prove. Small enough to carry in a briefcase whilst being comprehensive in its content. I already had the previous edition and bought the 2011 version to remain up to date with recent legislation. The format of the book remains the same. Well worth the small outlay. Invaluable to any Police Station Representative.
