Be warned - This camera is not for the average Joe. If you're used to cheap consumer editing programs, this is not the camera for you!
What this camera is, is a cracking sensor that's capable of capturing stunning images in the right hands and with skilful editing/processing.

If you're looking for a decent quality video camera that produces reasonable looking footage out the box; may I suggest you look at Sony or Cannon's consumer offerings.

For best results use a decent quality lens, very high speed Memory cards (PC Formatted to exFat) and be prepared to spend some time in the edit (Pro software only) and grade; as that's where the captured footage really comes alive.
Base your purchase of this camera as one of acquiring a superb sensor with a class beating 13 stops of dynamic range and minimal jello (rolling shutter) roll!
Yes you will need to spend on decent lenses and yes you will need half decent editing facilities, but then this is a pro camera! Your shooting rig; Lenses, cage and audio ect will likely cost much more than the camera, but this is progress!

This is an incredible camera for the cost. But there are major considerations you should make before purchase.
Do your research, your PC and software may not be able to acquire the images.
It's not like an average Prosumer Camcorder. It's not a DSLR either. It's pretty unique. Think of it as work in progress
in that to get the best from it you have to have skill and the right professional software and additional hardware.
Buy Sandisk extreme SD cards and you'll have no problems capturing.
For:
Light, portability. Stunning quality images. Raw capabilty
Against:
Battery life, fiddly autofocus at low light levels, no audio levels.
I bought the Wooden camera cage and PL adapter to use my Arri lenses and WOW, they look good.
By the way I had trouble with the Sigma 19mm micro four thirds lens, the auto aperture didn't work.

OK so that was just to get your attention. But the camera is pretty good. I have used it as B camera on a couple of corporate films and it deserves better than the current 2 stars here. Depth of field is great, image quality is great and the amount of latitude you get in the grade kicks the 5D out of the ball park. I love my 5D but this is a better image. Less rolling shutter, still great depth of field. It is a pain with regards to cards and getting the footage off but once you have it it is beautiful. For a 800quid camera. Amazing.
