Amazing album, imagine crystal castles but with a punkier, straight to the point edge and you have something similar to this album. Any punk fans would also enjoy this ... just get it!

I like to think Kap Bambino as the punk side to electronic. The first track hammers in with a constant electronic and a heavy, ear pounding synth bass drum. The album progresses, with synth riffs that are face-melting enough to be played on the guitar, the vocals are severally compressed; slightly distorted and electronic at times and totally match the album's electronic feel.

If you are a Crystal Castles fan, buy this. It's better.

I heard this album for the first time in early December. In the five months since, I've listened to it almost every day (and more than once, some days). The perfect fusion of noise, epic pop melodies, insane female vocals, and a beat that won't let you not dance. If you like the first Cure album, wish Atari Teenage Riot had been more fun, or wish there was more Crystal Castles out there*, you NEED this record.

* Kap Bambino is sometimes referred to as "the French Crystal Castles," though their first LP came out two years before Crystal Castles got together
