For any OFWGKTA fan you need this! Very good album, also comes with a booklet full of images of 'MellowHype' and 2 stickers (I have uploaded the photo) 5/5

This re-issued version of 'Blackenedwhite' is probably my second favourite Odd Future release (Behind the OF Tapw Vol 2).

What makes this so good is because Mellowhype (Hodgy as main MC and Left Brain as Producer) are able to get away from what we consider a usual OF release. The beats are better, the hooks are better and Hodgy doesn't simply wrap about his infatuation with death, rape, violence, misogyny...

The album is great, like most OF releases it is a digitak.

Favourite Tracks: 'Loaded' (F/Mike G), "64" & "Brain" (F/Domo Genesis).

Q - Is this album better than Tyler, The Creator's Goblin?

A - Yes. For one thing, it doesn't feature half as many rambling, Kanye West-esque outros, and for another, while Hodgy Beats doesn't try quite so hard as fellow OFWGKTA member Tyler in the shlock horror stakes, he *does* seem to work his skinny little backside off as a rapper.

Q - Is it better than Frank Ocean's Nostalgia/Ultra mixtape?

A - Let's not get silly now! Despite some excellent production from Left Brain (who maintains just the right mix of stoned jumble and blank menace throughout), Blackendwhite isn't quite up there with modern soul-pop classic Nostalgia/Ultra, which is not only the best OFWGKTA release but one of the best MUSICS of 2011.

Q - Will it turn my child into a rampant psychopath?

A - Look, to be honest, I can't be arsed with you and your kids, but I severely doubt it. It *might* make them want to come up with their own personalised garish eighties rap fantasy stories though, so - be aware!

Q - Can Blackendwhite help me lose weight/reverse hair loss/cure the common cold?

ALL SIGNS POINT TO YESS!

I award this album four out of five brains. Maybe you will too.

The reissued version of BLACKENEDWHITE is a brilliant album, I've been listening to for a while although the album lasts for 30 minutes I find all the tracks really good and the CD also has additional content with a sticker and a booklet!

Solid From Start To Finish 14 July 2011
By Lone Wolf - Published on Amazon.com

Even though I downloaded this mixtape for free last year off of the Odd Future site, I went out and dropped the cash to pick this up anyways. I listen to a lot of mixtapes and this is one that truly deserved to have a proper release.

From start to finish, the production is AWESOME. To top off that solid production, Hodgy's lyrics and flow go perfect with the beats that Left Brain puts together here. They truly work together on this one - take one away from the other and this just wouldn't be the same.

Go out and get this one. Lets give them some motivation to make some more good music.

Free Earl! 6 Aug. 2011
By Jesus Jackhammer - Published on Amazon.com

I'll start off by saying, I'm not a man who likes rap. I don't completely dismiss the genre, but I've always felt that the majority of it lacks talent. However, when my buddy introduced me to OF, I was instantly hooked. I was also one who downloaded this album for free on the OFWG site last year, and felt it very necessary to support them by purchasing it, and it's well worth it. 64 is a great addition to the track list. It does have a bit darker sound to it than the other songs, but as far as I'm concerned, that's a good thing. I'm still not 100% sure how I feel about Igotagun, but it's starting to grow on me, and it does serve as a good transition into F666 The Police. Honestly, my only complaint is that Chordaroy isn't on here. That song was always my favorite. Not only did it have a sick beat, but it featured my favorite OF member, Earl Sweatshirt (which I'm guessing is the reason it's not on here). I'd highly suggest this album to anyone. Can't wait to see what comes next from them!

The vinyl itself is transparent and looks awesome and decent quality
The album is a new west-coast rap movement from the Odd Future clan
Lo-Fi beats and semi-intelligent lyrics

Hodgy Beats & Left Brain together are unstoppable. I'm excited for their next project to say the least. Odd Future in general is taking over
