Small and powerful 6 Oct 2010
Colour Name:Pink
This light is fantastic.
It is very small and light as it does not take a conventional AA or AAA battery. I can recharge it from the USB port while I am at work so I don't need to worry about replacing batteries and it will save me a fortune. If your USB port has a lip next to it you may need an extension cable as the light has to be able to sit very close to the port itself while charging. The USB ports on the front of my work PC are indented but I have a USB port cable (the other option would have been to use the ports on the back of the tower). I found that when the light is fully charged it continues to flash to signal that it is fully charged even after you have removed it from the USB port. This is easily remedied by leaving the light on for a few minutes to take the 'top off the charge'.
It gives off an incredibly bright light, probably in comparison to a light that would require multiple AAA batteries. My previous experience with rechargeable AAAs was that the light quality wasn't very good, but so far this light has exceeded all my expectations. I cycle across paths through unlit fields and can use it to see the path when there is no street lighting. The field of light is not particularly broad though so I would be hesitant to use it in a proper off road environment, however it is ideal for commuting. I've actually had complaints from pedestrians that it is too bright!
The velcro strap makes it easy to attach to your bike no matter where you want to put it and the on/off button is easy to use even with gloves. I was initially concerned that the light might slip round while on the handlebar but it does not move at all from the angle at which I set it.
All round this is my favourite bike light from the range of styles I have tried over the past few years.

Blinder! 7 Aug 2010
Colour Name:White
I was quite suprised with this item. It was purchased as a back up front light for road and occasional offroad use as I already have an upper market 'Cateye' light fitted to the handlebars.
Sadly though, this seems to out perform my Cateye quite considerably. At only a fraction of the cost, this little beauty gives a bright, wide area of white light, and has 3 settings ('dim', 'full' and flashing). Sadly all three settings are better than my LED cateye and I'm wondering if my £50.00 could have been better spend on a few more of these?!

Most importantly, the light is fitted to the handlebars using the supplied velcro strap, which ties around the bars and through the bracket on the bottom of the light. Very secure, and very quick and easy to fit/move/remove. As far as I am aware, the light is also compatible to fit most other standard fixed light brackets!

The light is supplied with a small USB stick, which attaches to the light by means of 2 small magnetic dots on both the USB stick and the light. Simply plug in and place light on USB stick to charge - takes about an hour, and lasts for approx 5-10hrs (depending on brightness setting).

Very highly recommended!
