I was surprised. I figured that this book would be filled with copy/paste yahoo.com-type "frugality" articles and the like. But, surprisingly, it wasn't. In fact, it's filled with more than a few solid and pragmatic ideas on how to save some change. Of course not all of them work for me, but there are enough that a typical person can save an average of at least twenty bucks or so a month with little effort.
As an important side note, the first reviewer of this book is correct in that this book isn't going to win any Pulitzer Prizes, as there are typos, but nothing that obscures your ability to use the suggestions laid out in Ms. Kemp's book. The books effective and worth your coin.
