The Blackberry Curve 3G 9300 is the new entry level blackberry taking the place of the extremely popular 8520, therefore the two phones are very similar but the 9300 improves and modernises a lot that was missing from the original 8520.

The new upgrades added are mainly

-GPS

-Blackberry OS 6 Ready

-Slightly better screen

-Better battery life

-3G network capability

The phone comes in a very nice box with a decent size memory card and headphones, upon holding the phone it feel mainly sturdy but there are areas of the phone that feel more budget materials. Having had the phone a while now it does seem to be fairly strong but I do feel an unlucky drop would crack the front screen quite easily, there are extremely cheap quality cases on amazon to solve this though I'm talking a few pounds and your BB will easily be protected from most drops. One last thing on the ascetics the phone is a very beautiful device but it attracts finger prints like a beast.

As a first time BB user I have to say I was amazed by the business style feature set of this phone it seems that everything has been crafted to help you efficiently do pretty much anything you could want a phone to do. As a communication device everything seems orderly and right where you need it to be, not to mention the great qwerty keyboard will have you typing extremely fast txt messages in minutes faster than any touch device, with barely any learning curve that can come with some touch screen devices. Phone calls are easy to hear and find my phone has a good antenna and bars when others sometimes cant seem to get signal even on the same network, it also works very well on conference call mode.

I bought the Blackberry Curve 9300 3G as I read good things about this type of smart phone and also wanted to quickly un-do the mistake I made in getting a Samsung Jet touch screen (which was defo not great for fast txting) also I didnt want to jump on the iPhone fashion accessory scene (again touch screen just don't agree with me).

Everything about this phone is ace and I don't have one bad thing to say about it. I'm able to keep on top of my emails on a regular basis, the sms text/chat style is great so I no longer have to go through different txts to find out last conversation, instead it's all there under the one chat style per person you have texted.

I'm able to set up different ringtones for different messages such as facebook, emails, sms etc so I'm aware of what type of message I'm getting before I even check the phone.

The internet is fast and reliable, the wifi works great when using websites such as youtube.

The music player is loud and great, which btw has now replaced my Sony MP3 player (which was on it's way out anyway).

Lastly the battery life is great too for a smart phone especially even after the fact that I just about can't put the phone down everyday, I'm surprised it even lasts as long as it does. One thing I would say is that I turn off the 3G if I don't need it and it makes all the difference.

Basically, I love this phone and I would defo get a Blackberry again.

I had an iPhone and an Android phone before. Both were nice and funny phones but not very suitable as a business tool.

I love how easy and fast things are done on the BB 9300.

The battery last enough so you do not have to worry about it. The keyboard is fantastic and much easier to type than in a screen keyboard.

Also I think it has the right size and weight so it feels very comfortable. The only disadvantage could be the web browser as the screen is not big enough and here a touch screen is easier to manage.

As phone and email communicator is the best phone I have ever had. Even when is not as multimedia focused an iPhone or Android, it plays music nicely and videos are smooth but small.

I think it gives the best value for money on the market right now.

I had been debating getting a Blackberry after I was beginning to get bored of my well-served 3 year old Samsung Genio. I'm not a huge fan of the touchscreen keyboards like that of the iphone, and still wanted the qwerty keyboard my Samsung had. Going from a phone like that with a very bad web layout and no cool apps to download and personalise my phone with, you can see why a Blackberry became a very attractive option. Plus there was a lot of hype at the time surrounding Blackberry with it's various apps and the well-known and popular BBM.

After much consideration I went with this one on an 24 month contract from O2. I must say I was very pleased with it and fell in love with it instantly. Connecting to the internet is simple and I've almost always had 3G available with a full bar signal making searching the internet and loading of web pages sufficiently quick. However for most pages you do have to press the trackpad to zoom in to be able to read text clearly. The same trackpad is also used for scrolling on the page and in the home screen for getting to the folder you want to open. Although this is also very easy to use, as is the qwerty keyboard that after a few days of getting used to the layout and small buttons will soon have you rapidly typing like a pro. I like the design of the keyboard in that the buttons aren't squashed together that make typos more likely. However the raised buttons do have a loud clicking sound that may be irritable to others when you're quickly typing away on a long text. On the plus side, you can opt to have the keyboard light up which can prove to be very helpful in the dark!

Downloading the apps you want from the App World is also fairly easy and apps usually only take a few minutes to download.
