Having waited with eager anticipation for my Torch, I was incredulous when it turned up without a cover. Every other Blackberry I have owned has been supplied with this. I even checked through the box for a second time round in case I had missed it!
Struggled by with my old ill fitting Bold cover for a few days until this arrived. Excellent piece of kit. More rigid than Blackberry cases normally are, it fits very snuggly and puts the phone into energy saving mode when inside it. Because of the snug fit it does not make the phone significantly more bulky in the pocket. A useful feature is that when in the cover, the jack point for headphones can still be accessed. Must have accessory for the Torch owner - unless you are very careful your screen will soon get scratched without.
Very keen price too!
Update May 2011 - Still functioning fine, but showing definite signs of wear with cardboard beginning to show through at the back. If this is a genuine Blackberry product as claimed their standards must be slipping! Hence reducing my rating.

I'm a new convert to the world of Blackberry and as soon as I got my nice new handset, I had to find something that would help preserve it and protect the screen - cue this little beauty!
Sleek and simple, it's well made out of good quality materials, and the leather feels soft and smooth to the touch with the Blackberry logo inlaid on its front in little little pieces of white plastic.
The inside lining is suitably smooth too, allowing the phone to slide in and out smoothly and easily, yet holding it tight in place when needs be. The front of the cover is slightly lower than the back allowing the flashing red LED of your phone to be seen, so you have a visual cue when you have waiting messages.
On the back of the holder the Blackberry brand name is branded across the bottom and I like the fact that there are not straps on any unecessary clasps on this product - it's just a simple leather pouch and in this 'case' less is more.
However, looks can be deceptive, because although it lacks features on the outside, this clever little case more than makes up for it on the inside, with a hidden magnet that helps prolong your battery life and also cleverly unlocks the phone's keypad, ready for use everytime you slide it out.
A totally worthwhile addition for my new handset and worth every penny - highly recommended for all Crackberry addicts.

I was quite shocked when I first got my BB Torch and found that there was no case, so straight away I began my search for a case to protect my new phone.
The first 2 that I found were well too tight and I was more likely to damage my phone putting it in and getting it out.
Today my new case arrived and it is great! A perfect fit and the magnet does the trick and locks the keyboard.
At £7.35 (plus p&p) I can't grumble.
It even arrived days before the estimated delivery date!

Does the job
This case does the job. My BlackBerry 9800 Torch fit snug and the magnet works, locking the screen whilst in the case.
