The product discription says this case has the energy saving magenet that will turn off the screen and lock your phone when put inside the case. This does not happen! I have the 8900, which the product discription says this will work for.

If you are thinking of buying this for the Blackberry 9700 and need it to put the phone to sleep when inserted into the case then dont buy this one as it does not put the phone to sleep.

Only had this case a few hours, and I can already tell it's a quality item. It's very high quality real leather, with a subtle badge and stitching and 'BlackBerry' embossed into the back. What the other reviewer was saying about the badge breaking his screen will be a non-issue for 99% of people, as most are intelligent enough not to keep their gadgets in their back pockets and sit on them!
I'd thoroughly recommend this case on build quality alone, and to top that it fits my 8520 VERY well indeed (considering it's not sold as the official case for it!)

Blackberry Pocket
I was dissapointed with this pocket, it was advertised a being 'Black', but in fact is actually Navy Blue and when the Blackberry goes into the pocket it does not lock the keys.

The pouches are great

On the face of it this pocket looks OK, but it is impossible to put your blackberry into it without it switching itself on. So it fails big time.
