The phone itself is really stylish, It looks quite expensive as well. Depending on how much you buy it for you can bag yourself a bargain.

I bought the phone only 2 days ago and have not explored it fully yet.

The phone is easy to use, it has a lovely keyboard which might take you time to get use to, it took me about 2 hours before i was away texting.

It has useful aps like blackberry messenger and blackberry maps.

I will try and update the review when i have seen and used all the features!

Most of the amazon market place sellers are selling them much cheaper then i got it! �40! WOW

These are fantastic basic Blackberry's- they are rugged big enough not to lose easy to operate and although cant access the apps of the more up to date one do exactly what they are supposed to do. I actually traded down from a blackberry curve to one of these because of their simplicity- ideal for those of us who don't like fiddly gadgets

The two BlackBerry 8700 Sim Free smartphones (Grey)are excellent. They are the best purchase I made last year. I will recommend the phone to anyone needing Blackberry phones. When another opportunity arises, I will get more for friends.

Can be used for full Blackberry Services
Dirt Cheap
Great Keyboard
Very Good Screen
Audio is perfect
Very loud clear ringtones/messagetones
Excellent Battery (up to 7 days)
Bluetooth
USB Charging

Neutral

Speed - although lags are very few and far between
Size - but it isn't huge and in fact is quite compact even for a 2006 device

Cons

No HTML support in emails (shows as codes)
Software is ageing but does the job (and in fact is very well thought out)
No GPS (if you need such a thing)
Does not show USSD responses from my (Russian) operator in Native Language (very annoying but won't affect 99% of folk)

it a fantasic phone it may not have camara but you can still have your own photo`s on it through blackberry desktop moniter.the sound is perfect and is easy to type messages and reduces time on pressing the same button repetly.

the phone was difficult to use as there wasnt user guide included. also the phone didnt keep its charge and died after 10/15 mins. i shouldve asked for my money back!!
