Does exactally what it says on the tin, good blacklight effect and low energy too. I would recommend to a friend.

What I recieved was a 20 W lamp, not the 25 W as advertised, however, when mounted in a deep paraboloidal reflector the light output was bright enough to cause many objects in the beam to fluoresce, not just the ones I was expecting.
Take care! The UV output is enough to cause skin burns and eye irritation if used incautiously, especially if mounted in a reflector.
Be aware also that the cap is a BC not the ES as shown in the ilustration.

Amazon Verified Purchase
Bought it to go with a book of blacklight posters. I put the posters on my wall and decorated the ceiling with glow star stickers. With the blacklight on my room feels like another dimension.
The only think I am irritated about is that I intentionally payed about £4 extra to get the 25W bulb over the 15W, then I was sent a 20W. It's okay though as 20W seems to be perfect for my room size (2.8m x 2.6m x 2.4m).
A bit pricey for what it is, but definitely worth it for that 60's/70's style room.

UV bulb
Nice product, in DK i couldn't find the right socket for it but its ok. The power its 25w and for a small room its ok, maby for a living room you need 2 or 3 :D. Read more

Misleading
Before you make the same mistake as I did, this item is not screw fitting but is a bayonet fitting and the photograph is wrong.
