Product Description

Australian thriller from directors David Nerlich and Andrew Traucki. Grace (Diana Glenn), her boyfriend Adam (Andy Rodoreda) and her younger sister, Lee (Maeve Dermody), are on holiday in Northern Australia when they to decide to take a tour down a river. As they drift into a swamp, their boat suddenly capsizes and their guide, Jim (Ben Oxenbould), disappears. Adam drags Grace to the safety of a nearby tree whilst Lee attempts to cling to the top of the overturned boat. Stranded in the flooded swamp, the three holidaymakers must work out what to do to survive.

Synopsis

Based on a true story, Black Water is set in northern Australia. Grace, her boyfriend Adam, and his sister Lee go on river tour while on holiday. The trio enter a mangrove swamp and their boat capsizes, only their tour guide doesn't re-emerge from the water. They discover that they've been hit by a terrifying crocodile. Adam and Grace manage to get to a tree while Lee uses the upturned boat to stay afloat. The trio must devise a way to escape the clutches of the man-eating crocodile by getting out of the swamp.
