Use this set of replacement blades on the upper rotor of your Lama II V4, Lama V3, or Coco Lama IV. The blades are used two at a time, and the 6 individual blades in this package make three sets of upper replacement blade pairs. These are "Blade A" which only work on the upper rotor. Specifications: Material: black plastic Quantity: 6 "A" blades Note: For the lower rotor, please look for "Blade B" sets.

These blades are a necessity for anyone with a compatible model helicopter. These helos are great fun to fly, oh yes!

But - unlike many of the smallest helos (Picoo, eg) the blades break pretty regularly. This is because there is lots more power in the blades, and not a lot more strength. Also, the blades can 'clash' when landing a bit hard (not crashing, but the results can be as bad) when the upper blades touch the lower ones. Ouch!

Changing blades is a chore, so not a lot of fun to be had there....

Most of us do need lots of blades - especially when learning. It is no disgrace to
break blades when learning. Happens to us all.

You will usually need a second set of the opposite rotation - making one set of upper, one set of lower, or you can buy a combined set of upper + lower from Amazon for about the same price.

The blades also work on the Maplin Lama 5 - an Esky Lama work-alike.

Recommended for good value - you get lots of blades for your money.

If you can find them, it can be worth trying (eg) the Xtreme Blade sets for these
machines - they are tougher and usually survive a blade clash on ours. But they cost around eight quid for a full set of four - you pays your money, and you takes your choice!
