Why I read this book: I was in the mood for a light contemporary romance.
What I liked: It was a light read, I didn't have to over think or become so wrapped up in angst I needed a massage to loosen the knots in my shoulders after reading. The plot fits the formula for a chicklit and happy ending.
What I didn't like: The female main character is a bad-ass body guard who is suppose to be able to kill a person six ways to Sunday. However, we don't get to see that side of her because she's pregnant through the majority of the book. I think the character could have easily had another occupation, like secretary, and had the same personality and background baggage she comes with. I also don't understand why a lot of male main characters are so promiscuouss and the females seem to be semi-virginal, but that's what you get here too.
Overall: This contemporary romance was a nice chicklit/romance. The characters were likable, the story moved along at a nice pace, and the tension between the two main characters was the right amount to make you think they had enough chemistry to be a great couple. I'd recommend it to chicklit/romance fans.
