Format:Audio CD
Great pop songs buried deep below great sheets of white noise and distortion, from the opener to the cathartic ending not a single duff tune. The trademark distortion, voice and pounding rhythm section only pauses for breath at around the halfway mark of 'The last Night'. Without out a doubt an awsome record paving the way for the likes of Nirvana and Soundgarden. Sounds like too much of an accolade? Listen to it then check the manufacture date.

If you like guitar rock with an edge this is the best bar none! Bob Mould hasn't made a bad album either solo or with Sugar / Husker Du.

Yep, it's as grim as a grim thing. However, the guitar playing is great, and once you get the hang of it, you can set aside the sentiments expressed and just listen to Bob doing his thing. Good feedback, good production.
