Well made, and good value for money. I chose it for my Fujifilm X100 because it has room for the lens hood (which the classy Fuji leather case does not) as well as a zip up flap on either side to store spare batteries, memory cards, and UV filter. The camera rests upside down in the case safely attached by an integral strap to the tripod socket, ready for immediate use. It feels very intuitive to use, like drawing from a holster- and a clever double zip connected by a drawstring enables the case to be opened and closed very quickly. It weighs virtually nothing, yet feels sturdy and protective, has a modern practical look, and helps anonymise the camera in public - ie, an ideal accessory for the street photographer.

Purchased for use with the Canon PowerShot G1 X, you will be pleased to know the camera fits perfectly, even with an adapter ring and a filter attached. It is a well made case and although I was sceptical about its claims the system works well. I also have room, in the two side pockets, for all the little bits including my PL filter, spare battery and SD cards. The only thing I am not sure about is the hand strap. For those of us with larger hands you will find difficulty in getting your hand through the loop; but this has always been a problem for me when purchasing wrist straps. However none of this takes away my five stars from what is a well thought out design.

I had been looking for a strap to replace the awful one that came with my Fuji X100 for some time. I had bought a better quality neck strap, but always felt like a tourist using it around my neck. For a while I tried a Gordy wrist strap, but found this irritating to use on a day shooting in town. Then I saw the Black Rapid on the internet together with some favourable reviews, so at what seemed a very reasonable price from Amazon, I bought one. I am so glad I did, this is now my strap of choice. It's very comfortable on all-day shoots and feels very secure. In addition it then hangs discreetly at my side, ready to bring up to take a photo very quickly. I use the strap on it's own or sometimes with the supplied case, when I don't need anything else with me apart from spare batteries and cards, for which the case has zippable side pouches. My only negative is that the instructions on setting it up could have been clearer. All in all though, I'm delighted with the my purchase and can't recommend it enough!

Already having the leather case for my Fuji X100, I ordered this as a more functional way to carry the camera. It is not only more comfortable than a standard neck strap (the weight of the camera sits on your shoulder), but also more versatile in allowing the camera to be used in lower shooting positions. The flexible design also allows the strap to be used with or without the case. Recommended!

A loft full of camera bags, wanted something smaller, lighter, more accessible, and built well. This product does it all. My Digilux 6 fits in it well (admittedly not with EVF attached) and its ideal for my Canon Powershot G10. Some reviewers have been concerned about the plastic buckles, but my experience is these rarely fail. You just have to make sure you've engaged them properly. Others question the tripod-screwing attachment. Read the instructions (give it an extra twist) and check it like you check your car tyres ! This is a great product, the best I've had in nearly 60 years of carrying a camera.
