Die Musik ist noch arg in den 50ern verwurzelt, der zumeist leicht angezerrte Klang der Aufnahmen ebenfalls. Kommt mit zwei unveröffentlichten Stücken / His first recording period with the Kent label, after leaving Chicago's Chess Records. His style is still rooted in the '50s, as is the recording quality with slighty distorted vocal tracks, throughout. Comes with two * = previously unreleased tracks.
